Recently, the famous blogger @digital chat station leaked something significant about the upcoming progress of the Oppo brand. The blogger revealed a new Oppo phone, which is called the Oppo A72 5G. The phone just got leaked for the first time. Before this, there was no name for that device.
Based on the phone’s specs, it appears to be an entry-level to mid-range 5G smartphone. The phone has a single punch-hole display with a resolution of 2400x1080p (Full-HD+) and also supports a 90Hz refresh rate. It is not mentioned which display technology has been used. Moreover, the display size is about 6.5 inches, and the whole dimension of the phone is about 163.2×75.1×7.9 (weighs 178g). The bottom chin seems to be a bit thick.
Inside the phone, an unannounced MediaTek processor is used, which is MT6853V. The processor had already been in leaks for a long time. According to the blogger, it may be the Dimensity 720 chipset. However, it seems to be an entry-level 5G chipset from the Dimensity 600 series, which is expected to be announced by the company soon.
Moreover, the information about the battery and charging for the phone is also mentioned. The Oppo A72 has a 4040mAh battery with fast charging of only 18W. The camera specifications of the phone are also straightforward. There is a triple camera setup (16MP+8MP+2MP) with an LED flash in a square camera bump. On the front, there is a single camera of 8MP. The phone also has a side fingerprint scanner in the lock screen button.
The renders of the phone have a gradient color with a mixture of Blue and Red. Currently, the memory specifications of the phone are unknown. Looking at the phone, it seems to be an entry-level 5G phone with a price of up to $200, maybe. Also, there is no announcement from the company regarding this phone.
