A few days ago, a new Samsung tablet was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website. The tablet was named Galaxy Tab A7 on the certification. Moreover, it was also certified by the FCC. Except for a few things, there was nothing more revealed about the upcoming tablet series on all the certifications.
But recently, the tablet was spotted on the Geekbench website with the same model number in all the certifications. According to Geekbench, the phone is equipped with 3GB of RAM and powered by an unknown Qualcomm chipset with the codename Bengal.
The chipset consists of eight cores with a frequency of 1.80 GHz. According to some reports, it seems to be an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 665. Moreover, the phone has scored 318 points on single-core and 1363 points on multi-core. The Geekbench reveals nothing more.
Some previous certifications revealed that the tablet might include only a single rear camera. From FCC Certifications, it was also confirmed that the upcoming tablet will feature a 7040mAh battery while the charging speed is still unknown. The tablet also has dimensions of about 247.6×157.36×293.37mm, which is almost equal to a 10-inch display. The Bluetooth certification only revealed that the tablet would be available in both Wi-Fi and LTE variants.
The Galaxy Tab A7 seems to be a successor to Samsung’s previous mid-range tablet Tab A (2019). The tablet appears to be a mid-range tablet, which may be priced at approximately $200. All the certifications are pointing us that Samsung may launch this product very soon. However, the company has not made an official announcement yet.
