Yesterday, we already reported that Xiaomi is going to launch the Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition. Moreover, it was also mentioned that the phone would be a ten-year gift from Xiaomi.
Xiaomi has done the same thing again, but this time with its sub-brand Redmi. A few days ago, the Redmi K30 Ultra was leaked on TENAA, and it was also stated that the launch of the phone was very near. Today, Redmi has officially confirmed that.
The new flagship phone from Redmi is the Redmi K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition. The company has announced this launch on its Weibo account. It is also mentioned that the phone will be launched on 11 August at 7:30 PM (China Standard Time). Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro+ and Redmi K30 Ultra will be launched on the same day and in the same event.
According to the TENAA, the phone would feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400x1080p (Full-HD+). The display may feature a pop-up camera, as there is no front camera on the phone’s render. Inside the phone, there will be a 4400mAh battery, which will support fast charging (maybe up to 33W). Moreover, the Dimensity 1000+ chipset is also expected to be used on this phone.
In the camera section, the phone will feature a quad-camera setup with a 64MP primary camera. On the front, there will be a single 20MP camera. The phone will be available in 6GB, 8GB, 12GB RAM and 128GB, 256GB, 512GB Storage variants with different colors. Moreover, the phone will also be equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
