Recently, two new devices from Vivo, Vivo V2022 and Vivo V2018, have been spotted on NBTC Certification. According to the certifications, the Vivo V2022 is the Vivo V20 Special Edition, while the Vivo V2018 is the Vivo V20 Pro. The Vivo V2022 was also spotted on Geekbench.
In the NBTC Certification, the applicant of both certifications is Vivo Mobile Communication Co. Ltd. In the Geekbench, it can be seen that the phone has the same model number as the NBTC certification.
The Geekbench also shows that the Vivo V20 SE is powered by a chipset with a codename trinket. The word “trinket” is the codename of Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 665 chipset. The Snapdragon 665 is an octa-core chipset based on the 11nm manufacturing process. Moreover, the base frequency of both is also the same.
It can also be seen that the Vivo V20 SE has 8 GB RAM. The phone scored 316 points on single-core, while on multi-score, it scored 1377 points. The phone is running the Android 10 OS.
The new Vivo V20 series will be the successor to the previously launched Vivo V19 series. The previous Vivo V19 was launched with Snapdragon 712. Therefore, this time, the V20 and V20 Pro are also expected to have better chipsets.
Currently, there is no news or any official statement regarding the launch of the Vivo V20 series.
