A few days ago, it was reported that Samsung is working on a new foldable phone, W21 5G. The phone was also spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance certification. Recently, we got another leak regarding the upcoming phone.
The all-new W21 5G has been spotted on 3C Certification. The certification revealed the charging speed of the phone. The upcoming foldable device will feature a maximum charging speed of up to 25W (11V, 2.5A). Moreover, it will use a Samsung 25W charger EP-TA800, which Samsung has already shipped with its flagship models.
The phone would also support charging in 15W mode. The applicant for this Certification is Samsung (China) Investment Company Limited. The foldable phone will also support 5G, like the Galaxy W20.
The certification mentions model number SM-W2021. The same model number has been spotted on Wi-Fi certification, which revealed that the phone would feature Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.
The previous model W20 5G was very similar to Samsung’s old Galaxy Fold foldable flagship. There was only one difference: the Galaxy W20 has different sides as compared to Galaxy Fold.
Like last year, it is expected that the new W21 5G will also have a Snapdragon 865 chipset. Moreover, a better display with infinity-o punch-hole is also expected.
Currently, there is no official announcement regarding the phone.
