Huawei is now reportedly preparing for the Nova series after the release of the Mate 40. This time, it will be the Huawei Nova 8 series. This morning, the famous digital blogger Digital Chat Station revealed the renders and specifications of the Huawei Nova 8 SE.
According to the blogger, the Huawei Nova 8 SE would feature a 6.53-inch OLED display. The display’s resolution will be Full-HD+ (maybe 2460×1080), while the refresh rate will only be limited to 60Hz.
The camera seems to be the same as the Nova 7 SE. It will feature a Quad-camera setup (64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP). The phone would feature a 3800mAh battery with a 66W charger, which seems to be a downgrade over the 4000mAh battery in the Nova 7 SE.
The phone’s weight and thickness will be improved this time. The Nova 8 SE will be 7.46 mm thick and weigh around 178g.
The Nova 8 is expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset, and the Nova 8 Pro will feature the Dimensity 800U. Both octa-core chipsets are based on the same 7nm manufacturing process and have a maximum frequency of 2.0 GHz.
The all-new Nova 8 SE is expected to be launched along with the Nova 8 series at the beginning or mid-December. The leaks suggest that the device is currently in the development phase.
