Samsung Galaxy S21 got FCC certification, charger maybe included in the box

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S21 series earlier than usual. The device has already been leaked many times, and even live images of it have been revealed. Today, the Galaxy S21 has been spotted on FCC Certification.

Galaxy S21 FCC Certification

On the certification, the device has model numbers SM-G991U and SM-G991U1. Both numbers suggest that the devices are the American variant of Galaxy S21 with Snapdragon 888 chipset. The FCC certification also revealed the battery information and other related information.

As per FCC Certification, the device uses the EB-BG991ABY battery, which is a 3900mAh lithium-ion battery. Surprisingly, the FCC certification also mentioned that there would be a 25W fast charger (EP-TA800), but some reports claimed that there would be no charger in the box this time.

Maybe the charger is mentioned in the FCC Certification as it would be used for testing purposes. We have to wait for more confirmation of this. It is also confirmed that there will be no 3.5mm headphone jack on the phone as the earphones mentioned in the certification are USB Type-C earphones.

It is confirmed that the phone would come with a USB Type-C to Type-C wire included in the box.

Previously, we already reported that a new Exynos 2100 chipset would power the Galaxy S21 series except for the US and Chinese versions. Both phones would be powered by Snapdragon 888. The Exynos 2100 chipset is expected to feature a Cortex-X1 super core.
