Black Shark is planning to launch the successor to its famous gaming smartphone series. Today, the company officially confirmed that the Black Shark 4 is in development.
Today, the CEO of Black Shark (Luo Yuzhou) officially announced that the Black Shark 4 is on its way. He also revealed the charging specifications of the phone. According to the CEO, the Black Shark 4 will have a 4500mAh battery and support 120W fast charging.
The CEO also mentioned that this phone’s full charging time is less than 15 minutes, making it the fastest-charging phone. Before, the iQOO 7 was the fastest-charging phone (in 15 minutes).
The Black Shark 4 is officially confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset because of the Snapdragon Technology Summit held in Hawaii in December 2020. Qualcomm also announced the OEM manufacturer’s name and mentioned that these brands are developing Snapdragon 888 5G-powered smartphones, and the Black Shark was also mentioned there.
The Snapdragon 888 5G is an octa-core chipset based on a 5nm manufacturing process. It also has a super Cortex-X1 core with a maximum frequency of 2.84GHz.
Previously, it was reported that the Black Shark 4 was ready to launch. It was also revealed that this phone might use a 144Hz refresh rate display.
It is expected that the officials will announce the release date and some other configuration information soon.
