Today, the Redmi K40 series has been listed on the Chinese 3C certification. As per officials, the model number M2012K11AC belongs to the Redmi K40, while M2012K11C is the Redmi K40 Pro. Both phones come with the same 33W charger.
The certification also mentions another model number, M2102J2SC, which belongs to the Mi 10 2021 edition. It was reported that Xiaomi would launch a newer version of the Mi 10 powered by Snapdragon 870. This model also uses the same 33W charger.
The charger MDY-11-EX has already been used in many Xiaomi smartphones. It supports charging in the following modes: 15W, 27W, and 33W. As mentioned in the 3C certification, the charger is manufactured in different factories.
The applicant for this certification is Xiaomi Mobile Communication Limited. It has been issued on February 3.
As previously revealed, the Redmi K40 series will be launched with the Snapdragon 888 chipset. The starting price is about CNY 2999 ($465). The phone is also expected to come with a battery with a capacity of over 4000mAh and a straight screen.
The Mi 10 2021 will be equipped with Snapdragon 870. There is no confirmation from the officials regarding this smartphone.
