Yesterday, news broke that Xiaomi will hold a spring product launch event on March 29th. The news claimed it would be the launch of the Xiaomi 11 Pro. Today, the company has officially announced the products that will be released at the event.
Today, Xiaomi announced that it will launch the Xiaomi 11 Pro and the Xiaomi 11 Ultra at this event.
Unlike last year, Xiaomi will launch the Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra together. Previously, reports claimed that Xiaomi might announce its first foldable phone, but now everything is clear, and the launch of a foldable phone is still expected in the Summer of 2021.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra have been spotted on different certification sites in the past few days. Both devices were also spotted on 3C certification, which revealed that they would feature 67W fast charging.
As reported, the two devices are almost the same in terms of overall appearance, screen, and core specifications, but they are different in terms of camera specifications.
It is reported that the Mi 11 Pro will feature Samsung’s GN2 sensor (50MP). There would be three cameras in total, but the Mi 11 Ultra may feature the largest camera setup in the industry.
The Mi 11 Ultra is also expected to feature a triple-camera setup, which may include a dual primary camera and periscope lens and support 120x zoom.
The Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra will be launched on March 29 in the spring season product launch event. Reports also claimed that Xiaomi might also announce its new Mi Notebook Pro.
