Today, Redmi has officially confirmed that the upcoming Redmi K40 Gaming Edition will feature a 5065mAh large battery specially designed for gaming purposes. This phone also supports 67W fast charging.
The battery capacity of this phone was unknown before, while the charging speed was already confirmed through the 3C certification.
Previously, it was revealed that the gaming phone would feature an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1 billion color depth. The display also has a single punch hole in the middle with a small aperture size.
The Redmi K40 Gaming Edition is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 1200. The chipset is based on a 6nm manufacturing process and features four Cortex-A76 cores.
It was also revealed that the phone is equipped with a new VC liquid cooling technology, has a large area of graphene of 11540mm², and uses new material from the space shuttle for the first time.
The Redmi K40 Gaming Edition also has built-in 12 antennas, an independent game antenna group, and a new set of dedicated Wi-Fi antennas for gaming to ensure the game’s stability.
