Today, the Galaxy Z Fold3 has been listed on the TENAA certification, which revealed some key specifications. The certification consists of the model number SM-F9260, which seems to be the Chinese version of the Galaxy Z Fold3.
As mentioned in the certification, the new Galaxy Z Fold3 will feature a 6.2-inch display. It is not mentioned whether it is a cover display or a foldable one, but its size suggests that it is a cover display. The number of displays will be 2, definitely, as it is a foldable phone.
The dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold3 are also mentioned: 128.1×158.2×6.4 mm. It is further observed that the Galaxy Z Fold3 will be slimmer than its predecessor (Galaxy Z Fold2, with a thickness of 6.9 mm).
The battery capacity of Galaxy Z Fold3 is also mentioned. It would feature a dual battery with the following capacities: 2155mAh and 2345mAh. The total battery capacity is 4500mAh, which seems to be the typical value, while the rated value is expected to be more as the previous year’s model is packed with the same capacity.
As reported before, the new Galaxy Z Fold3 will feature a new camera module design. This time, the camera would be aligned in a vertical line bump, and the number of cameras would be three. Moreover, the front camera is expected to be placed under the display.
Samsung‘s new foldable phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The chipset is based on the 5nm manufacturing process and consists of a Cortex-X1 Super Core. In addition, both inner and outer displays will feature a 120Hz refresh rate. The support for S Pen connectivity will also be there, and it might also come out of the box with the phone.
Galaxy Z Flip3 with model SM-F7110 also appeared on TENAA, but there is no information about dimensions, battery, or any other specifications.
The new Galaxy Z Fold3 is expected to launch along with Z Flip3 in the upcoming UNPACKED event (maybe held on August 11).
