In September 2020, Xiaomi extended its Mi 10 series by launching another affordable flagship device, the Mi 10T. The product was a real success for Xiaomi globally as it was an affordable flagship smartphone with high sales. The same device was sold as the Redmi K30s in China.
This afternoon, the famous Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that Xiaomi is very near to bringing the successor series of Mi 10T, which would be named Mi 11T. He also said that the Chinese version (most probably Redmi K40s) hadn’t been listed on any certification site yet.
Furthermore, the blogger is unsure about the global launch, but the Mi 11T’s Chinese launch is still expected to happen soon. The blogger also revealed that the new Mi 11T series would use an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate instead of an IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate (used in Mi 10T).
Other specifications haven’t been revealed yet. We can conclude that the Mi 11T series can be equipped with a sub-flagship chipset like Dimensity 1100 or Snapdragon 870 to maintain the affordable price. But it still depends on the company; they might use the Snapdragon 888 chipset.
The launch time is also not confirmed, but we can conclude that it might be launched next month (September 2021) like the previous year.
