TCL Foldable Phone leaked: 6.67-inch internal screen and 1.1-inch secondary screen, Expected To Price Around $775

This morning, the famous Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station shared a significant development from TCL. The company is now working on its first foldable phone. The blogger has revealed the images of its testing prototype machine.

TCL foldable prototype phone

In the images, this new folding phone from TCL adopts a vertical folding solution. As said by the blogger, the screen size of the main display is 6.67 inches, while there is a 1.1-inch secondary screen (for use while the phone is folded) placed under the dual camera lenses on the backside.

The blogger further revealed that this prototype of TCL’s first folding-screen phone is almost complete, which means that the retail version we will get does not have much difference. The manufacturer of this single punch-hole foldable display is Huaxing, and its quality also seems excellent. The expected price is around 5K yuan ($775).

This vertical foldable phone is almost the same as the Galaxy Z Flip3 5G, which was launched last month at a price tag of $1000. As the expected price of TCL’s foldable is around $775, we can conclude that it might give tough competition to Galaxy Z Flip3 sales not globally but at the Chinese market level.

The internal specifications of this foldable-screen phone haven’t been revealed yet. We can expect them in the coming days.
