After being listed on various certification sites, iQOO has finally confirmed the existence of its iQOO Z5. This morning, the company officially announced that the iQOO Z5 will be launched on September 23 at 2 PM. Furthermore, the company has used the slogan “Performance Pioneer.”
The company also posted the launch poster using the iQOO Z5. In another announcement, the company confirmed the chipset and other related specifications.
It is now officially confirmed that the iQOO Z5 will feature the new Snapdragon 778G chipset, a premium mid-range chipset built on a 6nm process. This chipset features an Adreno 642L GPU and an X53 5G modem. In addition, the iQOO Z5 also features UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 memory, a potent combo for solid performance.
As previously reported, the new iQOO Z5 will feature a single punch-hole display with Full-HD+ resolution (2400*1080p) and 120Hz refresh rate support. Furthermore, it was also listed on 3C certification, in which it was revealed that this model will support 44W (11V/4A) fast charging.
It is worth mentioning that the iQOO Z3 was powered by the Snapdragon 768G chipset, the same segment chipset and predecessor of the Snapdragon 778G. We can say that the performance would be a lot better than the previous model.
In the future, the officials are expected to reveal the further specifications of iQOO Z5 in the warm-up posts.
