Samsung is also famous for manufacturing some decent and affordable models in the past. Last year, the company launched the Galaxy A12, which became famous in the entry-level market due to its new design and sophisticated capabilities. The company seems to be working to bring a successor to this model.
This morning, a new battery module with the model number EB-BA136ABY was listed on 3C certification. From its model number, we can easily confirm that this battery module with a 4900mAh capacity belongs to the unannounced Galaxy A13 5G.
The new Galaxy A13 5G will feature a 4900mAh secondary Lithium-Ion battery, and there would be no change in terms of capacity compared to last year’s model. It is worth mentioning that the applicant for this certification is Samsung SDI Company Limited.
It is also observed that the listed model of Galaxy A13 is a 5G variant, and we also expect a 4G variant.
Previously, very minimal information regarding the new Galaxy A13 5G was revealed, but it was confirmed that it will feature the company’s 50MP ISOCELL JN1 sensor, the world’s first 50MP lens for an entry-level device. This lens was also featured on the Redmi 10.
Sources also claim that this device’s pricing would be almost the same as the previous Galaxy A12, making it Samsung’s most affordable 5G phone. There is no information regarding the launch of this model yet, but we can expect the launch before the end of this year (2021).
