This morning, the Galaxy Tab A8 2021 has been listed on the Chinese 3C certification which has exposed its charging specifications.
Starting with the model number, this is the first time a Samsung tablet device uses the letter X in the model number. It’s worth noting that the certification site lists two model numbers, with the SM-X200 being the Wi-Fi version and the SM-X205 being the LTE version.
Surprisingly, the tablet has been certified with two different chargers: the Samsung 7.5W EP-TA50CBC charger and the Samsung 15W EP-TA200 charger. It is not yet confirmed which charger Samsung will use for its new entry-level tablet.
According to previous information, the Galaxy Tab A8 2021 is expected to feature a 10.5-inch LCD display with a Full-HD+ (1920×1200) resolution and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The tablet wouldn’t be disappointed in the display section. It is worth mentioning that the refresh rate is still limited to 60Hz.
The Tab A8 2021 is also expected to be powered by the Unisoc Tiger T618 entry-level chipset, based on a 12nm manufacturing process and features two Cortex-A75 cores (2.0GHz) and six Cortex-A55 cores (1.8GHz). It seems that the tablet is designed only for light operations like office work or communications purposes.
The tablet will have a base variant with 3+32GB Storage, while the high-end variant may feature a 4+64GB or 4+128GB storage option. Moreover, the tablet will also be equipped with a 7040mAh battery.
The source also said that the camera will feature an 8-megapixel camera sensor on the back and a 5-megapixel sensor on the front, which is acceptable for video conferencing.
There is no official news about the Galaxy Tab A8 2021 release yet. But we can expect it to be released soon.
