Lenovo Legion Y90 specifications revealed with Snapdragon 8 Gen1, 18GB RAM, and more

A month ago, the 3C certification site revealed that Lenovo is working on a new gaming phone under the Legion branding. The other leaks also suggested that the phone would be named Lenovo Legion Y90.

This afternoon, Motorola’s product director uploaded two screenshots of the Legion Y90 showing all its major specifications. The director also mentioned that he forgot to put the test device in his bag, and after eight days, only 22% of the battery was left.

Not only that, the device maintains a temperature of 19 degrees Celsius, which suggests that its cooling performance will be excellent. In the second screenshot, the full specifications are mentioned.

The Legion Y90 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, based on a 4nm manufacturing process, and consists of the Cortex-X2 Super Core, the X65 5G modem, and Adreno 730 GPU. In addition, the device also has a storage combination of 22GB LPDDR5 RAM (18GB+4GB Extendable) and 640GB UFS 3.1 + SSD (512GB+128GB) storage.

Legion Y90 Specs

The Y90 has a 144Hz AMOLED (6.9-inch) display panel, which also supports a higher 720Hz touch sampling rate. The Legion Y90 also features a large 5600mAh battery with 68W fast charging. For heat dissipation, the device uses dual-fan and dual-fin liquid cooling technology. The device also has highlights like Dolby Atmos support, 2×2 shoulder buttons, and the latest ZUI 13 OS.

As per the previous warm-up posts, the Legion Y90 adopts a cooling structure of dual fans and fins. The temperature difference between the inlet and outlet air can reach only 25 degrees Celsius. Moreover, the active cooling provides an additional performance release of around 4W.
