Today, Black Shark has officially announced that the company will launch the Black Shark 5 series on March 30. However, the company hasn’t revealed anything more except the launch date in the first warm-up post.
The company has also used the slogan “Breaking through Gravity” to represent the Black Shark 5 series.
Previously, both phones from the Black Shark 5 series were also listed on TENAA certification, which revealed almost every single device specification.
Both phones feature the same 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution and a higher refresh rate, but they are slightly different in size and weight.
The Black Shark 5 has the following dimensions and weight: 83×76.25×10.37 mm and 223g, while the Black Shark 5 Pro’s dimensions and weight are 86×76.53×9.8 mm and 226g. Both phones also feature the same 4650mAh battery and 100W fast charging.
The Black Shark 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, while the Black Shark 5 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It is worth mentioning that the company has been using the Snapdragon 870 chipset in the standard model of the last two predecessor series.
The Black Shark 5 features a triple camera setup with a primary 64MP lens on the backside, while a 13MP has been placed on the front side. The Black Shark 5 Pro also uses the triple camera setup with a higher 108MP main lens. The same 13MP lens has been used on the front side.
