This morning, OnePlus officially announced that theOnePlus 11 will be released on January 4 in a launch event. The company posted a teaser on Weibo which revealed the launch date.
The official teaser doesn’t contain any images or specs information about the OnePlus 11. However, the company has also revealed the specifications of the device in a separate post. It was revealed that the OnePlus 11 will have the following highlights: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is based on the latest 4nm manufacturing process and has a new 1+4+3 architecture with the following cores: one Cortex-X3 core, two Cortex-A715, two Cortex-A710 cores, and three Cortex-A510 cores.
The company has also revealed that the OnePlus 11 will be equipped with 12GB RAM, which is more than enough for an Android OS-powered smartphone in most scenarios. As per previous leaks, the variant with 12GB RAM would also have 256GB storage.
