For a long time, it was expected that Redmi would launch a new model in its K60 series, the Redmi K60 Ultra. However, this model has only been rumored. Recently, officials ended all the rumors by confirming the device’s existence.
This morning, Redmi officially announced that the all-new Redmi K60 Ultra will be launched on August 14. The official also revealed the specifications and appearance of the device.
The officials revealed that this device would be powered by the Dimensity 9200+ chipset. The chipset is based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process and features a Cortex-X3 ultra-core, Immortalis-G715 MC11 GPU, and Mediatek T800 5G modem.
The Redmi K60 Ultra also features an Independent X7 GPU and the new violent engine 2.0, which provide in-depth bottom-level adjustments and performance leaps.
The launch poster also shows the back of the device. It will be available in two color options: Black and Olive Green. The back features a square-shaped camera bump with three lenses, including a primary 50MP lens and a 2MP macro lens.

According to previous information, the Redmi K60 Ultra will have a 6.7-inch OLED display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The device was also spotted on 3C certification, revealing that it will support 120W ultra-fast charging.
The top variant would feature 16GB RAM. The same model is rumored to be launched as the Xiaomi 13T Pro in the international market.
In the coming days, Redmi will also reveal other highlights of the Redmi K60 Ultra.
