This morning, Realme officially announced that the upcoming Realme GT5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
The chipset was launched at the end of last year. It is based on TSMC’s 2nd-generation 4nm manufacturing process and uses the Cortex-X3 Ultra-Core at 3.2GHz. The chipset is also integrated with the Snapdragon X70 5G modem and Adreno 740 GPU.

The Realme GT5 also features an X7 independent display Chip. The purpose of this chip is not known correctly. However, it would help provide a smooth display with a higher refresh rate.
The top variant of Realme GT5 will feature 24GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. These two approaches can provide a powerful storage solution.
The phone is reported to feature a 6.74-inch OLED display with a punch hole in the center. It supports 1.5K Full-HD+ resolution and has a 16MP inside the punch hole.
On the back, there is a triple camera setup which includes a 50MP lens, an 8MP lens, and a 2MP lens. The phone will be available in two battery variants: a 4,600mAh battery with 240W charging and a 5200mAh battery with 150W charging.
