Yesterday, we discussed in our vivo X100 article that the upcoming MediaTek chipset will be a game changer in the Android smartphone industry. It will be more powerful than the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
However, the company seems to be still testing this chipset. Today, the OPPO Find X7 with MediaTek Dimensity 9300 appeared on Geekbench 6.
According to the benchmark, the Dimensity 9300 will have the following specifications: one Cortex-X4 Ultra-Core at 3.25GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores at 2.85GHz, and four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.0GHz. The chipset has scored 2139 on single-core and 7110 on multi-core.
If we compare it with other Android smartphones, we will realize that there is a significant gap in performance between the two devices. At the moment, we don’t know which device the OPPO PHZ110 is. However, judging from its specifications, it seems to be OPPO’s upcoming OPPO Find X7.
It is worth mentioning that this chipset is also expected to power Vivo’s upcoming series, including the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro.
If we compare the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with the Dimensity 9300, we can see that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 seems to have much worse performance as it only uses 1 Cortex-X4 core, while the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 uses four.
