As Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen3 is here, every manufacturer is trying to launch their new phones powered by this chipset. A few days ago, we saw that Xiaomi was also launching its Xiaomi 14 series, and recently, the iQOO made an official announcement regarding its upcoming iQOO 12.
This morning, iQOO officially announced that the iQOO 12 series will be launched on November 7. However, in the official announcement, the company did not reveal any information related to the appearance of the device.
In another announcement, the officials also revealed that the iQOO 12 series will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The chipset uses TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process based on Qualcomm Kryo 64-bit architecture (1+5+2).
It features one Cortex-X4 super core, five Cortex-A720 cores, and two Cortex-A520 cores. The chipset also includes an Adreno 750 GPU that supports ray tracing at the hardware level.
A few days ago, the live images of the iQOO 12 series were also revealed. The camera module design has been updated. Now, it features a large square-shaped module with rounded edges. The display on the iQOO 12 is a flat panel, while the display on the iQOO 12 Pro is an edged panel.
In the coming days, iQOO is expected to reveal more aspects of the iQOO 12 series before the official launch date.
