AnTuTu released November’s best Android phone performance ranking

Qualcomm was expected to launch its new chipset, which would be named Snapdragon 875G, but everything turned out to be wrong. The new chipset was unveiled under the name Snapdragon 888.

The new chipset is an excellent upgrade over its predecessor. It mainly introduces the Super Cortex-X1 Core, integrated X60 5G baseband, and a GPU Adreno 660, making it Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset ever.

Currently, only the specifications are revealed. What will be the specific performance? We need to wait until the mass-produced model is equipped with the test.

Before that, let’s take a look at November. AnTuTu has revealed the list of best Android devices in terms of performance and benchmarks. This time, the statistics are from November 1 to November 30, 2020.

The list results are the average scores instead of the highest scores, and the statistics of a single model are >1000. Moreover, the data is based on the AnTuTu V8 version. If a single model has multiple storage capacity versions on the list, the version with the highest score is the main one.

As shown in the list, the top two Android performance lists are from the Huawei Mate 40 Pro and Huawei Mate 40 Pro+. The average scores are 698654 and 684069, respectively. This is the average score of all running points. The data shows that some Mate 40 Pro series do not turn on the system’s performance mode, so they do not use the phone’s full performance.

To fully utilize the Kirin 9000’s performance, users of the Mate40 series need to turn on the performance mode in the system settings.

In third place, we got the Mi 10 Extreme Edition (aka Mi 10 Ultra) with an average score of 671,045, ranking higher than the previous list. After comparison, it was found that the GPU score of this device has improved, exceeding 270,000 to 280,000.

The iQOO 5 series is in 4th and 5th place because the Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Edition has been updating the GPU driver. Although iQOO also has this feature, it doesn’t seem to have as many upgrades as Xiaomi.

Finally, the models ranked 6-10, followed by the iQOO 5, iQOO 5 Pro, Redmi K30S Extreme Commemorative Edition, Vivo X50 Pro+, iQOO Neo3, ROG Gaming Phone 3, and the Rescuer Gaming Phone Pro. They are all old and their results are standard, so the parameters are not mentioned here.

Then, we got the best performance list of Android devices in the mid-range segment. All the models in this list support 5G connectivity.

At first, we got the Redmi 10X 5G, which is the only phone that features a Dimensity 820 5G chipset. Surprisingly, the Pro version of the Redmi 10X series has scored lower than its standard version (3rd place). This may be due to the different storage variants that have been used.

Then we got Nova7 series devices in 2nd and 4th place. The Pro version is in second place, while the 4th is its standard version. This phone comes with Kirin 985. On the 5th, we got the Honor 30, which uses the same chipset and storage.

On the 6th-8th spot, we got the Honor X10, Honor 30S, and Nova7 SE with the same Kirin 820 chipset. On the 9th spot, we got Redmi K30 5G version with SD 768G chipset, while on the 10th, we got a Realme Q2 Pro 5G with a Dimensity 800U chipset.

It has been observed that Huawei chipsets also perform well when compared to chipsets from other companies.
