ASUS ROG Phone 3 Spotted On MIIT platform with 6000mAh Battery

The upcoming gaming phone of ASUS ROG Phone 3 is getting different certifications on different websites. Recently, the phone once was spotted on another website. This time, the phone appeared on MIIT.

According to the certification, the phone will be equipped with a 5800mAh battery (6000mAh typical value). The battery capacity is massive as compared to other phones. Moreover, in our previous article, we already mentioned that the phone would support fast charging up to 30W.

The phone has a dimension of 171x78x9.85(mm) with a display size of 6.59 inches. The model number “ASUS_I03DD” is the same as in the previous certification. The phone is powered by the latest “Snapdragon 865 5G” flagship chipset. The phone has already been spotted on GeekBench two times with a score of around 900 points on single-core and 3000 points on multi-core.

Currently, two storage variants of the phone are known: 8+128 GB and 12+256GB. Moreover, it is also reported that the phone will be equipped with a USB Type-C port for fast charging. The display may support Quad-HD+ resolution with a 144 Hz refresh rate. The phone has already been spotted on Wi-Fi Certification, Bluetooth SIG, EEC, and 3C certification sites.

According to our reports, the “ASUS ROG Gaming Phone 3” will be launched between the end of the 2nd quarter and the beginning of the 3rd quarter of 2020. Currently, the phone is still unannounced, but it is expected that it may launch soon.
