ASUS ROG Phone 8 listed on 3C certification with 65W charging

In April 2023, ASUS launched the ROG Phone 7 series with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors. Since the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is now available in the market, the company seems to want to launch the next-generation model before the end of this year.

This morning, a new ASUS device with model number ASUS_AI2141_A was listed on 3C certification. According to sources, the device belongs to the ASUS ROG Phone 8, which the company might launch soon.

As mentioned in the certification, the device will be equipped with ASUS’s 65W charger, which supports charging in the following modes: 15W, 27W, 45W, and 65W. The company has also included the same charging technology in the ROG Phone 8 compared with the ROG Phone 7.

Except for this, the 3C Certification does not provide any more specification information. However, it was previously reported that the ASUS ROG Phone 8 series will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

The chipset is based on a 4nm manufacturing process and features an all-new Cortex-X4 Ultra Core at 3.3GHz. It also features five Cortex-A720 P-cores and two Cortex-A520 E-cores.

At the moment, there is very little information about the Asus ROG Phone 8. However, the listing on the 3C certification site ensures that the company is working on this phone and will launch it soon.
