Finally, after a lot of leaks and rumors, ASUS has officially confirmed that they are going to launch its upcoming Zenfone 7 series on 26 August. Today, the company (Asus Taiwan) has posted the live-streaming schedule on their official YouTube channel.
The thumbnail of the live-streaming video revealed that the company is going to launch its new ASUS Zenfone 7 series on 26 August. The scheduled live-streaming video would stream the conference on the phone’s launch.
Previously, it was reported that the upcoming Zenfone 7 series would consist of two devices. The first one will be the standard Zenfone 7, while the second one will be its pro version. The only difference (as per reports) between both of these phones is the chipset. The Zenfone 7 will feature Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset, while the Zenfone 7 Pro will feature Snapdragon 865+.
Moreover, it is also reported that both phones will feature the latest Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. The pro version will also be powered by a 5000mAh battery, which will also support fast charging up to 30W.
Previously, it was expected that the new series might be launched with the Asus ROG Phone, but now it is confirmed that the phone will be launched separately on 26 August at 2:00 PM (Taiwan Timing) in an online conference.
