Recently, a Twitter user revealed live images of the ASUS Zenfone 7, which revealed a lot about the phone.
The photos show that the ASUS Zenfone 7 uses the same motorized flip-up main camera module as the Zenfone 6. However, this time, the camera module is shorter than its predecessor.
The phone has a triple camera setup with an LED flash. It includes a 64MP Sony IMX686 lens, a 12MP Sony IMX363 lens, and a ToF sensor.
The back of the phone appears to be made of plastic, but it will most likely use a glass back like its predecessor. The color of the phone is a combination of dark blue and dark green with a black center. The phone has the ASUS branding in the center and on the back. The sides of the back also seem to be curved like its predecessor.
There are two IMEIs also mentioned on the back of the phone. After searching those numbers on the IMEI database, we found that this is the Zenfone 7 with model number ZS670KS. The same model number has been spotted many times on other certification sites.
The fingerprint scanner seems to be missing on the back. It may use a side fingerprint scanner, as there is no chance for an in-display fingerprint scanner because the phone uses an LCD. For more information about the specifications of the phone, check our previous article.
The phone will be launched on August 26 at 2:00 PM in an online conference (will be streamed on YouTube).
