This morning, the Samsung Galaxy A02s was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification. From the name, it is an entry-level Samsung device.
In the certification, there are lots of model numbers mentioned there. Some of them are the following:
- SM-A025F (Single SIM) and SM-A205F/DS (Dual SIM) International Variant
- SM-A025M and SM-A025M/DS Latam Version
Another model number, SM-M025F/DS, confirmed that the phone would also be available in a rebranded version called Galaxy M02s. It will only be available in the Dual SIM variant.
All these models run the Bluetooth 4.2. The applicant for this certification is Samsung Electronics Company Limited.
Previously, the same model was spotted on Geekbench. In Geekbench, it was only mentioned that Qualcomm’s chipset would power the phone. It may be powered by Snapdragon 400 series chipset.
The model number seems to be the upcoming Galaxy A02, but as mentioned in the certification, it would be called Galaxy A02s.
This phone seems to be in the development phase. Samsung may unveil it soon.
