Samsung Galaxy A12 got FCC certification with 5000mAh battery and 15W charging

Samsung is reportedly planning to launch a new budget device in its Galaxy A Series, which would be the successor to the Galaxy A11. The device would be named Galaxy A12, according to the model number SM-A125M/DS.

Today, this device was also spotted on FCC certification, which revealed the phone’s key specifications. The FCC certification states that Galaxy A12 will feature a 5000mAh battery with the model number EB-A217ABY. The same battery has already been used in the Galaxy A21s.

The Galaxy A12 will come with Samsung’s older EP-TA200 15W charger, which can charge devices at 15W and 10W. The Galaxy A12 also comes with a USB Type-C port, as it uses Samsung’s Type-C cable (EP-DR140).

The device also features a 3.5mm headphone jack as it would come with Samsung’s famous old earphones (Model No. EHS64AVFWE).

According to previous reports, the device is expected to feature the TFT Display from the Galaxy A11. It was also spotted on Geekebench before, which revealed that the device would come with a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. The predecessor model also features an entry-level Snapdragon 450 chipset.

The phone is also expected to come with a quad camera on the back and a single camera on the front. The Galaxy A12 is expected to come in the following two storage variants: 3/32GB and 4/64GB storage.

The launch of Galaxy A12 is expected soon as the support page for this phone is already live.
