Samsung Galaxy A22 5G listed on Wi-Fi Alliance certification

It is known that Samsung is very near to launching the Galaxy A22. The most exciting thing is that this time, it would also support 5G connectivity, which would make it the cheapest 5G smartphone from Samsung.

Today, the Galaxy A22 5G has been listed on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification. It is also observed that both (single SIM and dual SIM) versions have been listed. The single SIM version has a model number SM-A226B, while the dual SIM version has a model number SM-A226B/DSN.

The certification mentions that both models are running Android 11. Except that the certification didn’t reveal anything more.

Previously, it was revealed that the Galaxy A22 5G would feature the MediaTek Dimensity 700. The chipset is based on a leading 7nm production process, which is up to 28% more power-efficient than an equivalent 8nm process.

The renders of the phone were also revealed, and it was confirmed that the phone features a V-shaped notched display. On the backside, it features a triple camera setup placed in a square-shaped camera bump.
