One of the most awaited Samsung Galaxy A32 5G has been in leaks and rumors for a long time. The smartphone has already been spotted on various certification sites. Today, Samsung has officially confirmed the existence of this smartphone.
Today, Samsung revealed its Galaxy A32 5G in a press release on the Samsung Newsroom site. The Galaxy A32 is the most affordable 5G smartphone from Samsung this year. In the press release, the key specifications, renders, and pricing of the device are also mentioned.
The all-new Samsung Galaxy A32 5G comes with a 6.5-inch Infinity-V display (v-shaped notch). The display uses TFT technology and is packed with HD+ resolution. The phone has dimensions of about 164.2×76.1×9.1 mm and weighs around 205g.
The officials didn’t reveal the chipset name, but it is confirmed that this is a Dimensity 720 chipset (as per leaks). The Dimensity 720 is an octa-core chipset based on a 7nm manufacturing process. It has a maximum frequency of 2.0GHz with a Cortex-A76 core. The chipset is equipped with a Mali-G57 GPU.
Inside the phone, a 5000mAh battery has been used, which supports maximum charging speed at 15W. It may use Samsung’s old EP-TA200 15W charger. The phone is equipped with a side fingerprint scanner instead of an under-display scanner.
The phone comes with a quad-camera, which is placed in an all-new design. Instead of a large camera bump, the cameras are placed in the little bumps, which seems far better than the previous design.
The quad-camera setup uses a primary 48MP camera with aperture f/1.8. There are three more cameras: an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth lens. On the front side, there is a single 13MP camera in the v-shaped notch.
The phone has two storage options: 64GB (€279) and 128GB (€299). It would be available in four different colors: Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Violet, and Awesome Blue.
The Galaxy A32 5G will go on sale on February 12, only in the European market. Currently, there is no news regarding the global launch.
