Samsung Galaxy A72 4G get FCC certification with 25W charger

According to reports, Samsung may soon launch the new Galaxy A series, including the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72. Both phones have already cleared many certifications.

Today, the Galaxy A72 has been spotted on the FCC certification with a model number SM-A725M/DS, which points out that this is the 4G dual SIM version of the Galaxy A72. A few specifications have been mentioned in the FCC certification.

The Galaxy A72 4G will come with Samsung’s old 25W charger (EP-TA800), the same charger Samsung has been using since the Galaxy Note 10 series. The phone is also equipped with a USB Type-C port, as it comes with a Type-C to Type-C cable out of the box.

In addition to the USB Type-C port, the Galaxy A72 also has a 3.5mm headphone jack as it comes with 3.5mm pin earphones. In the certification, a live screenshot of the device is also mentioned. The device uses a punch hole in the top center, as the status bar placement shows.

As per previous reports, the Galaxy A72 will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole. An on-screen fingerprint scanner is also expected. The Galaxy A72 will be available in two storage options: 128GB (€449) and 256GB (€509).

It is also confirmed that the Galaxy A72 will be powered by a Snapdragon 720G chipset, which is based on an 8nm manufacturing process. It has the highest frequency, about 2.3GHz, but it doesn’t support 5G network connectivity.

For now, the launch of both Galaxy A Series phones is expected soon, as the support page for both devices is already live.
