It was reported that Samsung is planning to launch the newer generation of its Galaxy A80. The company didn’t launch the Galaxy A81 and is now directly planning to launch the Galaxy A82. The first generation was launched in 2019 and got much attention due to its unique flip-camera design.
Recently, the famous Chinese blogger Ice Universe has revealed live images of the Galaxy A82. The blogger is already famous for Samsung’s exclusive leaks. As can be seen, the Galaxy A82 will leave the flip camera. Instead, it would feature a simple single punch-hole display.
The device has a similar appearance to the Galaxy A Quantum 2. There are many chances that Samsung might launch the same device as the Galaxy A82 in other regions. The bezels and chins are also reduced.
The device has a single punch-hole display with a small aperture. It also has a triple camera setup in a rectangular module on the back. The primary sensor is expected to be Sony’s IMX686, a 64MP lens also used in the Galaxy A52.
In addition, the Samsung Galaxy A82 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 855+ chipset. The chipset also has a renamed version, Snapdragon 860, and sold as Qualcomm’s highest-performance 4G chip this year. At the same time, the Samsung Galaxy A82 will launch a 5G version.
For now, there is no information regarding the launch of the device.
