Samsung Galaxy C55 5G with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC appears on Google Play Console

This morning, the Galaxy C55 5G appeared on the Google Play Console. According to the renderings and model number, this device is a rebranded version of the Galaxy F55 and Galaxy M55. The certification documents show that its device model is Samsung M55XQ.

The certification indicates that this phone is powered by the SM7450 chipset, which is the model number for the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. This chipset is manufactured using a 4nm process and has four Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz, and integrates an Adreno 644 GPU.

The device features a punch-hole OLED display and integrates an under-screen fingerprint sensor. The screen supports Full HD+ (2400 x 1080) resolution with a pixel density of 450 DPI. The certification also indicates that the phone has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 14.

The render shows that the back of the device features a vertically arranged triple-camera module. If this device is a rebranded version of the Galaxy M55, the triple-camera module will include a 50MP main lens, an 8MP lens, and a 2MP lens.

Its appearance is completely consistent with the leaked renders of the Galaxy F55 and Galaxy M55. If it adopts the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, its performance comparison with the Galaxy A55 will be worth looking forward to.

There is currently no official news about the release of this device. However, we expect it to be released soon. The Galaxy C55 is expected to be sold only in China, as the C series has always been tailored for that market.
