Samsung Galaxy M12 got FCC certification with 6000mAh battery

Today, a new Samsung phone has been spotted on FCC certification. The device has a model number SM-M127F, which suggests it would be called the Galaxy M12.

The FCC certification usually reveals a device’s battery specifications. As mentioned in the certification, the Galaxy M12 uses a battery with model EB-BM207ABY and a capacity of 6000mAh.

The same battery has been used with several Samsung mid-range models, including the Galaxy M30s, Galaxy M21, and Galaxy M31. The Galaxy M12 will feature a 15W charger with the model EP-TA200 in the box. The charger was first used with the Galaxy S6 series.

The phone would feature a USB Type-C port as the data cable mentioned in the FCC certification is a Type-C cable. Moreover, the phone would also come with a 3.5mm earphones in the box. The phone has two model numbers: SM-M127F (single SIM) and SM-M127F/DS (dual SIM).

The FCC certification also mentions the device’s live screenshot, which shows that the device may feature a single punch hole or a notch in the center top.

The certification shows that the device is in the testing phase. It may get a spot on other certification sites. This phone is expected to be powered by a mid-range chipset such as Exynos 9611 or Snapdragon 600 series.
