Samsung Galaxy M31s Will Feature A 6000mAh Battery

The upcoming Galaxy M31s is still unannounced by Samsung. But the phone has been leaked for a long time. In the past few days, the phone was also spotted on Geekbench. And now this morning, the phone got its certification from the Japanese site TUV Rheinland Japan Ltd.

According to the certification, the certification has a model reference EB-BM317ABY. The letters M317 point out that this is the upcoming Galaxy M31s. In the certification, it is mentioned that the phone will use a 6000 mAh Secondary Li-ion Battery. Moreover, the phone will also support 22.5W fast charging. The certification is issued on 17 June.

From previous information, it is observed that the phone is powered by the Samsung Exynos 9611 chipset. The Exynos 9611 is a 10nm octa-core processor with four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.3 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz. The chipset doesn’t support 5G connectivity.

On the Geekbench, the phone was spotted with the same processor and 6 Gigs of RAM. Some rumors also claimed that this 6GB RAM phone is equipped with 128 Gigs of Storage. The phone has scored 347 points on a single-core and 1256 points on a multi-core test (Geekbench 5.2.0). It is also reported that the phone may use a quad-camera setup on the back.

The upcoming Galaxy M31s seems to be a slightly upgraded version of the Galaxy M31. Currently, Samsung has not made an official announcement about this phone.
