Samsung Galaxy M62 received FCC certification with 7000mAh battery and 25W charger

It seems like Samsung is developing another M-Series device. After the Galaxy M02, another Samsung smartphone with model number SM-M625F has been listed on the FCC. The model number points out that this smartphone belongs to the Samsung Galaxy M62.

The Galaxy M62 will be the high-end model of Samsung’s affordable phone. The FCC certification has revealed its charging specifications and some other key specifications.

The Galaxy M62 is powered by an EB-BM415ABY battery, which is a 7000mAh battery that has already been used in Galaxy M41. It also comes with a Samsung EP-TA800 25W charger.

The Galaxy M62 is also equipped with a USB Type-C port, as the data cable mentioned in the certification is a Type-C to Type-C cable. The 3.5mm headphone jack is also there.

We can also confirm that the Galaxy M62’s display will have a punch hole or a notch in the center, as shown in the phone’s live image. The device would be launched as Galaxy F62 in some regions because another model number (SM-E625F) is also mentioned.

The applicant for this certification is Samsung Electronics Company Limited. The model number SM-M625F/DS mentioned in the certification is the dual SIM version.

As this is the first leak of the Samsung Galaxy M62, other specifications, such as the display, chipset, and related features, have not yet been revealed.

The launch of Galaxy M62 is expected soon, as the FCC certification shows that it is in the final development phase.
