Samsung Galaxy S20 FE got 3C certification with 15W fast charging

Recently, the Galaxy S20 FE was spotted on a certification site once more. Today, the phone was spotted on the 3C certification site.

The 3C certification has revealed the charging specifications of the phone. The Galaxy S20 FE will support fast charging only up to 15W and can also be charged at 10W. Surprisingly, the Galaxy S20 FE has a slower charging speed than the Galaxy S10 Lite (which supports fast charging up to 45W).

The charger is Samsung‘s old 15W charger (EP-TA200), which Samsung has long supplied with its mid-range phones. The certification has the model number SM-G7810, which suggests this would be a Chinese variant of the Galaxy S20 FE. The phone also supports 5G connectivity.

The applicant for this certification is Samsung China Investment Company Limited. The certification was issued on September 2.

We have already reported that the Galaxy S20 FE will be available in both chipsets: Qualcomm Snapdragon (in China and the US) and Samsung Exynos (in Europe and Asia). The phone is expected to feature a flat Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. A triple back camera setup (12MP+12MP+8MP) is also expected to be featured on the phone.

Like Apple’s iPhone 11, this phone will also have different color variations. This time, the phone will also be IP68 certified (dust and water-resistant).

The Galaxy S20 FE is expected to be launched in the upcoming Fall of 2020.
