After reporting about Galaxy S20 FE’s battery capacity, we got another 3C Certification, which is about Samsung‘s upcoming 2021 flagship. The Galaxy S21 series seems to be in development. Recently, the batteries of both Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ have been leaked through 3C Certification.
In the 3C Certification, it can be seen that the first Certification is for Galaxy S21+, which includes a 4660mAh Battery. The battery EB-BG996ABY consists of the model G996 of Galaxy S21+, which also points to us that this is the Galaxy S21+’s battery.
Moreover, the second Certification is for Galaxy S21, which includes a 3880mAh Battery. The model number EB-BG991ABY also consists of the model G991 of the Galaxy S21.
Surprisingly, neither battery is manufactured by Samsung. The applicant for both batteries is Ningde Amperex Technology Limited, which is a famous Chinese battery manufacturing company. Both certifications have been issued on the same day, 3rd September.
Previously, it was reported that the new Galaxy S21 series would include both three variants: standard, plus, and ultra version. The Galaxy S21 series will have a codename “Unbound” with the following variants: M1, N2, and O3. The variant O3 may arrive with an S Pen, which seems to be Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Currently, there is no more leak or any official statement regarding the upcoming series.
