Samsung Galaxy S24+ with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 listed on Geekbench 6

This afternoon, Samsung SM-S926U was listed on Geekbench 6, revealing its benchmark scores and some basic specs. According to the model number, the device is the US variant of the Galaxy S24+.

As can be seen, the Galaxy S24+ is powered by a quad-core chipset, which is Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. According to rumors, the chipset has one Ultra-core at 3.30GHz, three P-cores at 3.15GHz, two P-cores at 2.96GHz, and two E-cores at 2.27GHz. As per our knowledge, these cores are one Cortex-X4 core, two Cortex-A720 cores, three Cortex-A720 cores, and two Cortex-A520 cores.

The chipset has scored 2,233 points on single-core and 6,661 points on multi-core. We can see a clear difference if we compare it to the Galaxy S23+. The Galaxy S23+ has the highest score of 1,866 points on single-core and 4,945 on multi-core. It is also expected that the actual device would have different benchmark scores.

The Geekbench also mentions that the Galaxy S24+ has 8GB RAM, which feels slightly lower. The base variant’s RAM capacity should be around 12GB. The Galaxy S24+ has the codename pineapple. Regarding the Exynos variant, there is a significantly lower chance that Samsung will use its chipset in the upcoming Galaxy S24 series.
