According to official sources, Geely Galaxy E8 is based on SEA architecture and is scheduled to launch in the final quarter of this year. Recently, Geely announced this EV will debut with the world’s widest 45-inch 8K unbounded smart screen.
In addition to the smart screen, the Geely E8 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295 chipset and Geely’s new car system.
The officials have stated that the Galaxy E8’s front row will feature a 45-inch 8K display, providing an effective display area measuring 1130mm x 138mm. This intelligent design lets the driver maintain a wide viewing angle of up to 88 degrees, ensuring an immersive visual experience.
The display’s strategic placement also helps eliminate potential visual obstructions from the rearview mirror, enhancing overall driving safety.
The large screen has a slim profile design with a thickness of just 9.8mm. This sleek design incorporates touch glass, the cover plate, and functional film, which results in an ultra-thin 8mm narrow black border.
The screen ratio is 98%, and it has characteristics like anti-glare, anti-fingerprint, waterproof, and dustproof. The EV’s operating system also supports gaming applications that users can play and control through smartphones and handles.
The front face of the Galaxy E8 showcases an elegant rippling design, with the headlights showing an upward dynamic. The high-definition cameras are installed on both sides of the vehicle’s body. The vehicle’s side profile is the defining part of its new aesthetic, featuring strong, muscular lines and a dynamic sloping design.
The EV adopts a trendy design with the through-type taillights on the back, creating a harmonious interplay with the multi-layered rear surround. In terms of dimensions, the car has the following sizes: 5010 x 1920 x 1465 mm. In terms of performance, the vehicle is powered by a pure electric drive system, boasting an impressive combined motor output of 200kW.
