Gionee M3 with Helio P60 and 5000mAh battery listed on e-commerce site, will be available on April 13

It is reported that Gionee is about to launch a new phone, the Gionee M3. The phone has been listed on the Chinese E-Commerce site, which has revealed the renders and specifications. As per the listing, the phone will be an entry-level device.

The device is equipped with a 6.53-inch waterdrop IPS LCD display. It features a 1600×720 resolution, a 90% screen-to-body ratio, and a 19:9 Screen ratio. The phone measures about 163.2×75.9×9.3 mm and weighs around 201g.

The Gionee M3 is powered by the Mediatek Helio P60. The chipset lacks 5G support and is based on a 12nm TSMC manufacturing process. It consists of four Cortex-A73 cores at 2.0 GHz and 4x Cortex-A53 cores at 2.0 GHz.

The phone features three cameras on the back in a hexagon-shaped camera bump. It consists of a primary 16MP Sony lens, a 5MP lens, and a 2MP lens with Auto-Focus zoom. While on the front side, there is a single 8MP lens inside the waterdrop notch.

The phone comes with a 5000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. It can be fully charged in 1 hour. The phone also features a Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side fingerprint scanner.

The Gionee M3 will be available in three storage options: 6+128GB (CNY 899, $137), 8+128GB (CNY 959, $147), and 8+256GB (CNY 1059, $162). It is also available in three colors: Bright Black, Dark Green, Skyland, and Silver Diamond Grey.
