Honor 90 appeared on 3C certification with 66W charging

This morning, a new Honor device with model number REA-AN00 was listed on 3C certification. According to the sources, this device belongs to the Honor 90. The 3C certification has revealed the charging specifications of the Honor 90.

As mentioned, the Honor 90 will support a maximum of 66W charging and will use the same 66W charger that Huawei released with its Mate 40 series. The charger will use Honor branding and will support charging in the following modes: 10W, 40W, and 66W. If compared with the Honor 80, the company hasn’t upgraded the charging power.

According to previous news, the specifications of the Honor 90 series are expected to be almost the same as the Honor 80 series. However, very little change is expected.

It was previously reported that the Honor 90 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. As with the Honor 80 Pro, in addition, the display resolution and main camera sensor will also be the same.

It is worth mentioning that Honor 80 Pro uses the Samsung ISOCELL HP3 200MP primary sensor but was limited to capturing only 160MP shots. It is expected that Honor might allow capturing 200MP images in its upcoming Honor 90 Pro.

At the moment, the information regarding the Honor 90 lineup is very minimal. However, it is expected to be launched in May 2023.
