Honor Play 5T Vitality Edition with Helio P35 chipset officially announced

Honor has just unveiled a new phone called the Honor Play 5T Vitality Edition. According to specifications, the phone seems to be an entry-level device. The phone has been listed on the official website with its renders and specifications.

The Honor Play 5T Vitality Edition features a 6.6-inch U-shaped notched LCD display with 1600x720p resolution and a 16.7M color depth. It measures about 165.2 x 76 x 9.2mm and weighs 191g.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35. The chipset is based on a 16nm manufacturing process and consists of four Cortex-A53 at 2.3GHz and four Cortex-A53 at 1.8GHz.

 

The phone has a 4900mAh battery inside, which supports fast charging up to 22.5W. It is also equipped with a USB Type-C port that supports a USB 2.0 connection and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The phone has a quad camera (13MP + 5MP + 2MP + 2MP) in a rectangle-shaped camera bump. On the front side, a single 8MP lens is in the notch. The device has a side fingerprint scanner.

The Honor Play 5T Vitality Edition is available in two colors: Magic Night Black and Aurora Blue. It has only one storage option: 6+128GB, which is priced at CNY 1299 ($200). The phone will go on sale on April 27.
