After many leaks and rumors, Honor finally made its official statement regarding its Honor V40 series.
This morning, Honor officially confirmed that the Honor V40 series will be officially released on January 18. It also mentions that “Starting from January 8, Honor offline stores and major authorized e-commerce platforms will open appointments simultaneously, and you will have a chance to win gifts when you participate.”
In the official teaser, the smartphone features a dual punch-hole curved display. However, the resolution, size, and refresh rate have not been officially confirmed.
The phone has a charging port, a speaker, and a SIM card slot. Its appearance is similar to that of the Huawei Nova 8 series.
As previously reported, the Honor V40 is expected to feature the Mediatek Dimensity 1000+. The chipset is based on a 7nm manufacturing process. It has a Cortex-A77 core with a maximum frequency of 2.6GHz.
All the Honor V40 series devices will feature a maximum of 66W wired charging, the same charging speed as the Mate 40 and Nova 8. The support for 45W wireless charging is also expected.
The Honor V40 is expected to be equipped with a 50MP lens, the V40 Pro will have a triple camera lens, and the V40 Pro+ will have four cameras.
