Honor V40 5G will feature GPU Turbo X, price start from $617

The Honor V40 series is ready to launch on January 22. As the release date approaches, the company has revealed some standout highlights of the phone.

Today, a Chinese Weibo user leaked an image mentioning the price and storage option of the Honor V40. The base variant has 8+128GB storage and is priced at CNY 3999 ($617).

The officials have also confirmed that the Honor V40 will bring the GPU Turbo X. As the company mentioned, the GPU Turbo X is optimized from a global perspective to activate potential and enhance the gaming experience.

In simple words, the GPU Turbo X graphics acceleration engine will improve game performance.

The Honor V40 is expected to feature a high-end retina super-sensing screen with 1 billion colors depth. It would also support a 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz sampling rate.

The Honor V40 will feature the Dimensity 1000+ chipset, LPDDR4x memory, UFS2.1 flash memory, and a built-in 4000mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging. The phone also has a 50-megapixel RYYB ultra-sensitive camera on the back.

According to renders, the back of the Honor V40 series uses AG glass. It has two appearances: matte and glass. The color variety includes various options, such as titanium empty silver, magic night black, and rose gold.
