Honor V40 5G Launch delayed, now set for January 22

A few days ago, Honor officially confirmed that the Honor V40 series would launch on January 18. But today, the company has officially stated that the launch date has been delayed.

As per the official Weibo post, the Honor V40 series will now be launched on January 22 at 10 AM, and the smartphone sale will start at 12 PM.

The event has been delayed due to the conference venue and equipment. This is not the first time the launch event of Honor V40 has been delayed. Before this, the launch was set to happen on January 12, but then it got delayed. It wasn’t official at that time.

In the official post, the company also mentioned that the Honor V40 series allows users to explore every possibility with science and technology and offers an unprecedented experience upgrade.

The Honor V40 features a display with the highest specifications ever. According to officials, it is a 1 billion-color retina super-sensing screen supporting 1B color depth, 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz screen sampling rate, and under-screen fingerprint recognition.

The Honor V40 will be powered by a Dimensity 1000+ chipset, LPDDR4x memory, UFS2.1 flash memory, and a built-in 4000mAh battery. It also supports 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
