Honor V40’s TPU case leaked, camera design confirmed

The launch of the Honor V40 series had been delayed. The company even opened the pre-orders for this phone in its major offline stores.

Today, the famous Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station revealed another leak about the Honor V40 series. The blogger revealed the TPU case image of the phone, which confirmed the camera’s appearance.

The camera seems to have the same lens layout as the Huawei Nova 8 Pro. The only difference is that the Nova 8 Pro has an oval-shaped camera bump while it has a rectangular bump (with sharp sides).

It is also observed that there may be a headphone jack at the top-right, above the cameras.

As per previous reports, the Honor V40 series is expected to have a 120Hz display with a 300Hz touch sampling rate. This phone is also expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+.

It is confirmed that all the smartphones in the Honor V40 series will support the same 66W charging. It is also expected to support 45W wireless charging.

The Honor V40 is expected to be equipped with a 50MP lens; the V40 Pro will have a triple camera lens, while the V40 Pro+ will have a quad-camera lens.

Currently, the expected launch date for the Honor V40 is January 12. However, it has been confirmed that the V40 series will be available before the end of this month.
